Cardiff City goalkeeper on loan to League one club
Bristol City had brought Dave Richards on an emergency loan deal which will be made permanent in January.
19-year-old youth will be lining for Frank Fielding, who missed the midweek defeat at Brentford yesterday because of a hand injury, and will compete with former teammate while in Cardiff, Elliot Parish.
Bristol goalkeeper coach Lee Kendall revealed that the club has been trying to bring Richards on Tuesday, but hampered by international clearance has not been dropped.
Meanwhile, the young goalkeeper is expected to appear regularly with Bristol in the near future.
"Competition is important to encourage one another, and keep all the players remain at their top level," said Kendall brief quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
